biography
AnnaKarin Cameron is a Costume Designer & Set Creator with a broad experience of film and stage creations. She is a visual interpretator of the Directors idea and imagine.
Her language is simple but strong, edgy but subtle. With a long dedication to design history, the ways of creating characters in time and space are numerous. Adding a strong belive in leaving only good footprints were she walks.
1994-1999, Studied and graduated as a tailor and costume creator. Later one of Film i Väst first graduates in filmmaking. Since 1996 she has been working as a Costume Creator and Technican both as freelance and as a part of the Costume Dept at the Gothenburg Opera House. Added design studies and started her own buisness for movie and stage costumeering and props in 2003. After many good years at the Opera she left in 2009, to focus on working as a freelance Designer & Creator in a wider way. The closeness of the different aspects of Production Design at the theatre is an desirable way of work.
AnnaKarin regularly works with companys like Filmlance International, Illusionfilm, Tre Vänner, Anagram Production, Zentropa Sweden, Jarowskij Sweden and Sweden Television and are based in Gothenburg, Sweden.
